This month's Feature Presentation will be from John Belliveau (KA1WRH). John not only does a lot of experiments on his own time but also comes from a corporate engineering background which had him involved in many antenna designs. In his presentation this month he'll elaborate on:
- The Truths and Myths about antennas
- Radials (counterpoise, ground planes and capacitive coupling)
- Resonance and the question of "is it required?"
- Antenna Tuners
- Transmission lines and their characteristics
- Grounding and Bonding
- Not all rubber-duckies are created equal!
- All that and more!
And scheduled for next month: Frank Frisone (KA2QYE) will tell us the whole story about Winlink2000! A well illustrated Power Point Presentation along with a detailed explanation of how it works, who can use it and when. No one will leave with unanswered question (unless they didn't ask!).
Remember that if you haven't paid your dues yet, its $15 and your contribution really helps us out as a club!
