Nets that are held on the W2WCR Linked Repeater System

Just a little note for new club members and or new hams or folks who just listen in to our system. Our linked repeater system hosts these daily/weekly nets. Feel free to check in if you are a licensed amateur radio operator. You do not have to belong to the Warren County Radio Club to join in on the fun.

  • Every morning 7am 365 days a year - The Capital District Weather net - feel free to check in and let them know what the weather is in your location. Road condition reports are also welcome.
  • Tuesday evenings at 7pm - The Warren County RACES net - This is a training net limited to RACES members only. If you are a registered RACES member please check into this net.  Most nights we will pass a drill message.
  • Wednesday evenings at 7pm - The W2WCR Tech Net - This is a roundtable net that consists of a variety of topics in the electronics world. We usually go through the question pools of the license exams and pick out a few questions. If you have any questions technical questions bring them up at this net and those who are listening will try and help. All radio Amateurs are welcome to check in.
  • Thursday evenings at 7pm - Last but not least, the W2WCR "Rag-Chew" net is held every Thursday evening at 7PM. This net is open to all radio amateurs and are welcome to check in. The net is a round table discussion of just about any topic you can think of.
